Sunflower honey - Look towards the Sun

🌻 Sunflower honey is a wonderful honey with a mild flavour.

🍯 It remains liquid for only a short period as it crystallises very quickly, forming large crystals that make it firm. This should not concern you, as you can return sunflower honey to a liquid state by placing the jar in water and gradually heating it up to 50°C.

Sunflower honey is often underrated, but it is amongst the world's finest honeys. It is characterised by a high concentration of pollen, and consequently minerals.

🌬️ It is used for respiratory tract ailments, has a beneficial effect on digestive issues, and is therefore recommended for the elderly. It has antibacterial properties.

🐝 The bees are placed in sunflower fields in Popovac and Grabovac, Baranja.
