Wildflower honey - Plant a tree

Wildflower honey in a 250g pack, accompanied by seeds of the honey-yielding Koelreuteria tree (Koelreuteria paniculata) in a small bottle. 

This tree is native to East Asia.  It is one of the most rewarding honey trees. It flowers in June and July with yellow blossoms that bees joyfully land on.

The seeds are planted in spring or late autumn. During the summer months, the sapling needs watering (of course! :-)).

The Koelreuteria tree is a wonderful tree all year round, which is why it is a popular choice for planting in parks.

In spring it has beautiful pinnate leaves, in summer it blooms with yellow flowers that cover the entire canopy, and in autumn seeds form inside large bladder-like pods that turn brown over winter and remain on the tree until spring.
