Carob Liqueur


Ingredients: ethanol, carob, sugar

Carob liqueur is produced by macerating ripe carob pods in locally produced grape brandy. Carob is a very healthy and often unfairly overlooked Mediterranean plant containing vitamins B and E, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and other minerals. It also has antibacterial, antioxidant and antiviral properties, and is rich in polyphenols that protect the heart and blood vessels. An excellent alternative to chocolate.
