Pinot Gris boasts an exceptionally appealing aroma, rich in ripe and even overripe notes of continental fruit such as apples, bananas and pears. The maturity of the aromas is also evident in additional herbal undertones with a spicy character. On the palate, as on the nose, it displays a mature character and pronounced fullness. Alongside the strong alcohol, this richness is mostly driven by abundant extract, which gives the wine not only its full body, but also a long-lasting, attractive fruity aftertaste.
