A seasonal fruit and vegetable calendar built from our weekly deliveries with 30+ OPGs: when produce actually becomes available, how many weeks it lasts, and how the continental season differs from the Dalmatian one.
From our August and September deliveries, we measured how many jars of preserves you realistically get from a 5 kg box of tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers, which varieties yield the most flesh, and how many days after harvest the produce can still withstand pasteurization.
From our order sheets, we know the exact week of harvest and the day you pick up your box. We show how strawberries, apricots, and figs behave in the freezer depending on whether they are frozen on the delivery day or three days later, without sugar and without syrup.
