Onion - organic - shallot (Dalmatian) - (OPG Čondić Geyer Snježana) - 100g
Onion - organic - red - yellow - (OPG Čondić Geyer Snježana) - 100g
Garlic - (OPG Čondić Geyer Snježana) - 5g
Salt - 1,5g
Sugar - 1,5g
Water - 0,15 dcl
9% Vinegar - 0,5 dcl
Red peppercorns - 10 grains
Basil - 1 sprig
Thyme - 1 sprig

Peel the onions, wash them well, and drain. Pack them into jars as tightly as possible. If the onions are too big, you can slice them. Put the water, vinegar, salt, and sugar into a pot and bring to a boil. Once the liquid boils, pour it into the jars to cover the onions and herbs, and seal with a lid. Finally, place in a preheated oven at 100 degrees Celsius for half an hour, then let cool completely. Check during the first two weeks whether the liquid has become cloudy or if there are bubbles. If there are, pour out the liquid and make a fresh batch.

You can add various spices. You can change the proportions and types of vegetables depending on what you prefer.
