A Major Recognition: Among the Best Globally!
We have great news! Our company has been included among the 133 best global solutions on the prestigious World Summit Awards (WSA) list for 2024! This recognition means a lot to us as it shows that our efforts in connecting local producers and consumers through a digital platform have not gone unnoticed.
What Actually is the WSA?
It is a global competition honoring innovative digital projects that support society and the environment. Competing solutions include apps for marine wildlife protection, mobile clinics for remote areas, and tools assisting people with hearing impairments. Standing alongside these major projects is our own project named Plodie !
A Platform Connecting the Local and Digital to Strengthen the Community
Our director Ivan Lauc, presented the digital platform Plodie at the "Ajmo Lokalno" fair, highlighting its importance for local producers and the community. This innovative platform enables producers to easily offer fresh, local products to a broader network of buyers, while providing customers with a secure, transparent service and fast delivery.
Through our platform, local producers not only increase their market visibility but also contribute to strengthening the local economy and sustainable development. This recognition at the World Summit Awards (WSA) confirms that we are on the right path and further motivates us to continue developing new ways to support our communities.
Plodi is not just a platform, but a tool for building better connections, supporting local producers, and bringing local produce directly to consumers' tables.
On the Road to the Top 40: Building a Sustainable Future Together
In the coming weeks, an international jury will decide who makes it into the top 40 projects and wins the prestigious WSA 2024 award. Regardless of the outcome, this is already a huge victory for us!
